Home school term 1 week 6



This week we made most of nice weather.we did 2 parks and woods

Syd did nursery school 3 mornings.

cheer leading and brownies and yet another birthday party.



We tried a new park this week.The old swimming pool has been turned into garden such shame waseent a fab outdoor pool so few about these days.


Attended a family disco as not being at a school worry she misses out on typical events a school do.


Got some retro sort science books I guess questions kids ask totally fab got 20 For crazy price of £2 off local face book group

These are very similar and ideal young children 30p each at car boot sale  in the summer.

The part form science lessons along with easy experiments some books from lidls and pinterest ideas.
we done lots nature walks and looking at trees.our topic this term has been autumn as letting seasons and calender guide our learning until after christmas.



We read we are going on a bear hunt then took pics of bear to different places in the park, took pictures then played hide and seek with the bear. Syd liked exploring parts of park she has not been too before and looking at the trees, collecting stuff for nature table.

We went walk round woods picked chestnuts and syd pushed her older sister on tree rope swing

between outings we

counted chestnuts and conkers.

practiced our sounds SATP jolly phonics phase 2 set 1
played about with magnetic letters
read early readers and story books
some drawing.
