Home school term 1 week 2

Another hectic week. weather still lush.

we of course did our local large park which is fab its more an estate not just a fantastic play area , fab place meet home educators and close to eldest school sort of between school and home.

of course not all play and no work here,s some of this weeks stuff we did.

learning write 2 letters a week

preschool maths story book and hungry caterpillar counting book as gentle introduction to foundation numeracy.
she loves doc mc stuffins activity booklet £1.99  from the works. some educational stuff in there kept syd interested and made things fun.

Like to lay it out on table see how much we have again seems lot more work than it was.

mostly puzzles , stuff t help develop fine motor skills which enables writing

we looked at jobs people do this week.

syd did bit of dress up.

she knows all her shapes
did some colouring and activity books

lots of play and out and about.

we went to our usual toddler groups tuesday and thur am as they said we still welcome where she played did crafts and met up with school mates as most schools here staggered starts part time for first 4-weeks.

we concluded another lovely week with sat trip local festival in the park where syd did nature crafts , made her own eco instruments and went on few rides, soaked up the sun and the music.

How could I forget syd started rainbows.You have to be 5 which she is mid september. shes been waiting and exited for last year asking when she was was going to start,

She started same place and time s eldests brownies and had her sisters old rainbow leader who,s lovely she made a felt ladybird.

She also returned to her cheer leading classes this week so once again better social life than me,

Made most of good weather this week.
