Took Syd to huge im not back school picnic was lovely sunny day met few lovely people Syd played and paddled.
Syds 1st day at school got fed up 1st day back school pics on face book so posted this.
Day 2 2nd decemeber we took 4buses to go to large park near city centre syd loved being top deck. we packed rucksack with books and activity books so could learn do on the move.

we read the gruffalo and did gruffalo crafts. set up small craft area in utility room using old nappy change table as had large desk type surface and lots of shelves for baskets.
chip shop tea as treat of 1st week back at school.
The week started 2nd Sepetember as 2nd was eldest,s inset day.
we concluded a lovely week with family trip Saturday as learning does not stop on weekends.
we went to Roath park in Cardiff where the girls played in play area. went in small botanical garden and fed fish. did gymnastics on vast lawns. fed killer swans as eldest named them and girls went on lake with daddy and peddle boat needless to say daddy did most of the peddling whilst me and small boy watched from cafe window scoffing chocolate cake.

Oh by way that,s my journal in middle. we don't use calender or timetable.
I just write list of stuff want to do each day and tick off.
it does not get done gets added to next day list
I did start storing stuff daily boxes but no reverted to weekly and termly storage bxes as have so many books to house.
sometimes pictures make it seem like loads.
Reason I don't schedule is life gets in way appointments and weather.
I know some home educators say they work in mornings.
I try slot in am school runs with nearby places of interest ie parks woods shops and events so we don't waste any time and make most of when weathers good as long as we complete the list ad spend x amount time on each topic or subject then its good be structured planned but also flexible.
Its easy get overwhelmed so many ideas on pinterest and blogs I sometimes have to tell myself we cant do them all.
Had minor stress of some of syds new books being delivered to local chiropodist not my house so had to track the missing books down.
